Thank you for this recipe.
For the other Eurpeans: 11 pounds are 5 kg
450°F is 230°C and 350°F is 180°C, enjoy. ^^
Just flip your bird. That way your breasts get fed fluid during roasting.
Thanks alison.. Hey, does anyone know what we would call a cheese cloth in Australia?… Myer or DJ’s would sell them?
I have tried, and the results exceeded my expectations! The turkey is moist and juicy. Thank you very much!
GREAT VIDEO. VERY PROFESSIONAL
Thank you so much for this well presented information. Organic turkey is much better and the turkey soup from leftovers is out of sight!
Do organic turkeys cost an equivalent amount to non-organic (that have more water in them, and thus they weigh more), which makes them cost more since we pay by the lb?
Is there a problem from brining since it creates so much salt/sodium in the bird?
THANKS!!!
heheheh pan gravy.
half of this vid sounds like innuendo
Can I ask why this procedure is needed?
love her kind explanations
Nice words anthonytelles! Nice work wholegourmet! Keep em’ coming.
do you think that brining and then following your steps will be ok?
That’s awesome – Im gonna try that….
Well presented. I didn’t see any mention of washing hands and the turkey! One can also start the bird on either side finishing it off on its back. Saw a Nigella Lawson Christmas special where she soaked the turkey overnight in a saltwater brine combo with onions, herbs and spices. Looked delicious.
yummy!i want to eat it.haha~~
good job. Your instructions are very clear. I never saw that cheese clothe before. where can I get that?
The Apple and Sage Garnish is in the next video! Sorry – It wouldn’t fit in under 10 minutes!
As I mention at least twice – the oven STARTS off at 450 then gets turned down to 350 when the turkey goes into the oven.
Hello, I think you did a great job! You need to find sponsors and start your own Cable Show. Go for it and don’t look Back! Ignore the disrespectful remarks and stay in the company of successful people in nice areas!
bahahahahahahaha, ur awsome
Question, you said you would show how to make an apple and sage garnish, yet you didn’t, did you forget?
yummy
450 degrees? Butterball turkey website says 325 degrees is the right temp for roasting a turkey!! Oh well, I started roasting mine 1 hr. ago and being a 19 pounder, it will be done in 3 1/2 hrs….
